Payment Options

At Second-Hand Jewellery, we offer a range of secure and convenient payment options. SHJ is backed by Hatton Garden Metals, and in-store payments are handled at the Hatton Garden Metals counter in London.

Please review the payment options below before placing your order.

1. Bank Transfer

Bank transfer is a fast and secure way to pay for your order.

You can make a same-day transfer through online banking or by contacting your bank directly. Funds will usually clear into our account on the same day the payment is made.

Once your payment has cleared, your order will be processed and despatched.

Please make sure you include your order reference number when making the transfer. This helps us match your payment to your order and avoid any delays.

2. Chip & Pin Payments

SHJ can accept card payments in person at the Hatton Garden Metals counter:

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm

In-store credit and debit card payments are accepted by Chip & Pin only, up to a maximum of £1,500.

3. Online Debit & Credit Card Payments

We accept UK-issued debit and credit card payments online.

Online card payments are accepted for orders up to £5,000.

For security reasons, the billing address of the cardholder must match the delivery address provided at checkout.

4. Cash at the Counter

SHJ can accept cash payments in person at the Hatton Garden Metals counter:

We can only accept up to £8,000 in cash per household within a 12-month rolling period.
